a lesson for us all...

don't catch baseballs with your face!

OUCH!!!

last night baseball practice for this studly brother of mine got a little out of hand. my dad received a phone call from Anthony's coach around seven thirty informing us that he had taken a ground ball to the face and was losing quite a bit of blood from a bone deep gash above his eye. three hours later they arrived home from the ER with 23 stitches, yep you heard me right 23!!! He is looking like a hard core UFC fighter now. Naturally, he was angry that they took so long at the hospital because he wanted to go back to baseball practice. SUCH A BOY!! One thing is for sure, he is going to have a knarly scar when it's all said and done. Good thing boys are tough...I would be a baby if that happened to me!

lazy bum...

Recently i have been a very lazy bum! Summer has me in the lazy grips. I got fed up with it last week so i have sworn up and down that i will be much more productive and get a big project or something worth while done everyday. Along with this i am going to keep up on the blogging. I suck at writing in my journal and i know i have forgotten a lot of great memories because i never wrote them down anywhere. So, since i love making the blog all cutesy and playing around with it i figure it's a little more of an incentive to sit down and write or recap my days and weeks so that i don't forget this time in my life! Here i go i guess, my project for today...get rid of some of the junk i have in my room! Wish me luck!

grateful...

today i am feeling so very grateful for this amazing book..

and this amazing man! nothing brings comfort to me like reading the book of mormon or listening to or reading counsel from this inspired person.

doesn't that face just make you happy?! it sure makes me happy! i am so grateful to be blessed with the knowledge of a living prophet.
