seven peaks =
sun burned cheeks!
A couple weeks ago Brock said he wanted to go to Seven Peaks..
So of course we went! haha
Me, Whitley, Jake, and Brock had a grand time driving
up and spending Friday in good ole Provo!
Sadly...I was camera challenged on this trip and didn't get a single picture :( :(
I will try to paint the pictures with my words
best things of the trip..
  1. Me and Whit had some really great conversations on the drive up!
  2. Upon arriving she informed us that they have a pet rat in their apartment..I didn't let anyone know but i was quite scared when i heard that so i entered the apartment VERY cautiously haha
  3. Youtube videos before bed..."where are we gonna see when the champions come?!"
  4. Waking up not so early the next morning
  5. SEVEN PEAKS!!!
  6. A creepy guy following us on his bike while we walked to seven peaks..good thing the boys were there to protect us!
  7. The boys favorite part for sure was the life size cut out of Taylor Lautner in the gift shop ;) ok so maybe they were a little disgusted with it..ya definitely disgusted!
  8. Brock saving a drowning child!!
  9. Seeing lots of people who were a little too confident about their bodies
  10. Mother nature deciding to dump rain for a short period of time and completely soaking our towels and clothes and then deciding to stop right as we had everything ready to leave!
  11. Happy Sumo for dinner!
  12. Jake being very curious about the ring on the waitresses finger
  13. The greatest movie..the Notebook before bed
  14. All of us ordering exactly the same thing for breakfast at Mimi's Cafe. Or as Jake liked to call it Pipi's!

It sure was a GREAT trip!!

"smore" fun!

we have a list..our summer bucket list that
we have to accomplish this summer before Star and Jaimee move away.
making a fire by ourselves and having smores
was just one of the things on the list!
of course with a fire there has to be music and singing!
star just rocking like Dave and momma Mel!
Dunc trying to give Jaimee some instruction..
she is perfect though she never needs instruction ;)
Jaim losing her mallows..
mmmmm...good!
one thing on the list accomplished!
many, many more to go!

problem

what is the problem?
shaving.
shaving is the most annoying thing ever!!
ok, so its not the most annying but
i really hate it! Why ??
  1. i am challenged and cut myself three out of five times i shave
  2. my skin is so darn sensitive. razor burn is a very common occurence
  3. i am pro at missing strips and having one line of "prickly" left
  4. it adds time to my showers. i hate wasting time
  5. i am cold all the time so my hair grows back in the blink of an eye.

yep...i hate shaving!

(princess cede)

Cede was a christmas present to our family in 1998..
she was always a snobby, feisty, little bugger
who tried her best to ignore us at all costs...
but that is why we loved her!
She always seemed to be able to cheer anyone
in the house up. Whether she was
howling like a coyote or deciding to lay right where
everyone was walking and snorting at us
when we told her to move!
She thought she ruled the house...
just a few weeks ago she decided she was
finished ruling our house. She could barely walk..
we decided it was time to let her go back to dog heaven

I sure miss tucking the little princess into bed and hearing
her snore all night, but, I'm sure she is enjoying bossing
all the other dogs in dog heaven around!

3 days, 3 parks, and a whole lot of friends

Grad trip was an absolute blast!!
I am just going to give a little re-cap..
The fun started Thursday morning at nine thirty.
First on the agenda...a LONG bus ride to Cali!

..a few hours at the hotel to freshen up and..
watch the first episode of SYTYCD!!!

Loading up the bus in our matching shirts..

..some laughs with good friends!
DISNEYLAND!!
A few more steps and we were patted down
and searched. Disneyland means business when
they have thousands of seniors flooding in!
Some REALLY REALLY long lines..
lines where we..
"Have never been this close to people we don't know,"
After being pushed and shoved and sworn at
for a good thirty minutes we were finally in line
for Space Mountain!! This line was only...
an hour long haha the Ninja game helped
us pass the time!
An unfortunate dancing moment...

A "keepin' it clean," dancing moment..

A picture here and there..

With some extreme teacup spinning to end the night!..
Or welcome the morning! We loaded the buses
at 6 Am to sleep walk to our beds and rest our eyes for
a few hours. Then it was back on the bus and
on our way to Six Flags!!
A little character greeting..
and some of the most intense roller coaster action
filled day two!
Back at the hotel again...
a little battle of the maidens took place.
I think Jaimee won!
Then it was off to sleep...well..not until 2 AM.
Day 3: Back on the bus!
We drove across the street to Knotts
and then circled the park in the blasted buses
probably about five or six times.
Not sure what was wrong with the bus driver
but we all were very anxious to get off the bus
and start playing!
The classic stick your face in the prop
amusement park picture!
After a long and exciting day a Knotts we loaded
the buses for home!!
All worn out!!
Such a fun trip. And a great way to celebrate with
all our classmates! As Nikole and I walked through the
parking lot to her car we stopped and both realized
that we probably wouldn't see most of those kids again.
WOW..talk about a sad reality check!
High School was fantastic!! I will miss it dearly..
But like they say..life moves quickly!
To all my classmates through the years at Dixie..
I will miss you all!
