the good life...

well another week has passed which means I have some updating to do! This last week was SO great!! Here is what has been going on the last few days...
thursday
date night with Taylor and McCall! some din din at Outback, a little sytycd (thanks to the patience of Jordan and Taylor) and then we hit the park to play some Bocce!! I think this game has easily become one of Jord's favorites in the last few days. Unfortunately we didn't come out with the win but we are practicing up so we can kick some booty next time we play these two!

friday

Jordan's sister Jacie got married on Friday!! She is now Mrs. Cambra, I think it sounds pretty dang cute! Jord looked pretty dapper in his champagne tux...not to be confused with tan...champagne is much cooler sounding. This picture shows our height difference pretty well. I am even wearing heels! I'm pretty fond of how tall Jordo is...just sayin!

after the happy couple left and everything was all cleaned up we hit up McDonald's at midnight and lounged around at the Hammer house until we were all ready to pass out!

saturday

another date night! This time there were six of us...Arch and Jessica and Mike and Laura completed this triple date! There may have been some dancing to some choice songs while we awaited the arrival of the whole crew at destination one. We are REALLY good car jammers! We started off with some Coldstone. Strawberries and sweet cream ice cream with a brownie...yummy!
the next thing on the agenda was some...Bocce ball!! Yes, that is two times in one week. What can we say it's pretty dang fun! Since Jessica and Stephen were new players Jord and I decided to let them win just to be kind. I know, I know...we are so nice!
we concluded the night with a good game of Taboo! we played girls against boys. Naturally the girls kicked the boys booty's. They put up a good fight but us girls were on fire! I think this game is one of my faves now! The boys had a few hilarious attempts at words such as breeze and fifty-fifty. All in all it was a really fun night! Well I'm sure I will have more fun things to share soon but...that's all for now folks!

sunburned but so worth it...

currently...I am covered in aloe vera and putting off enough heat to warm the house. Ok maybe not that much but I am definitely looking a little lobster like today! I don't mind because the cause of this oh so red skin was a long day at the lake yesterday which was so much fun!!

Jordan's grandpa has had these little beauties for quite some time so Jordan and Stephen decided we needed a day on the lake! So yesterday morning off we went. We had plenty of fun trying to show off our tricks and throw each other off of them. The boys packed us a little picnic so we played and ate and played some more! Naturally there were a few battle wounds. Arch and Brynley got out ok however Jord and I left with some scratches and bruises from a couple rough rides but what is a day at the lake without a few battle wounds right?! We sure do love the lake!!

so I still am an extreme slacker when it comes to blogging. maybe someday I will keep up but for now i must rewind a little bit.

officially the first day of summer. officially the day I turned 19...it still is weird to me that I will be turning 20 next year. My birthday was filled with a pool, sunshine, amazing friends and family, my moms yummy chicken enchiladas and Grease out at Tuachan. Grease = not the greatest in my opinion, anyone else agree?

Saw Parachute in concert in the beautiful Springdale.

they won my heart. I am in love with them. I have listened to their music everyday since the concert. If you don't already listen to them I highly suggest that you check them out.

So there it is...a small update on what I have been up to. There are quite a few pictures with stories that will be coming soon (hint hint Gentry and Nikole!!) My Breakfast just got put on the table and my stomach is winning my attention so this is all for now! Hopefully I will not slack so terribly this month in the blogging area!

OUCH!!!

last night baseball practice for this studly brother of mine got a little out of hand. my dad received a phone call from Anthony's coach around seven thirty informing us that he had taken a ground ball to the face and was losing quite a bit of blood from a bone deep gash above his eye. three hours later they arrived home from the ER with 23 stitches, yep you heard me right 23!!! He is looking like a hard core UFC fighter now. Naturally, he was angry that they took so long at the hospital because he wanted to go back to baseball practice. SUCH A BOY!! One thing is for sure, he is going to have a knarly scar when it's all said and done. Good thing boys are tough...I would be a baby if that happened to me!

lazy bum...

Recently i have been a very lazy bum! Summer has me in the lazy grips. I got fed up with it last week so i have sworn up and down that i will be much more productive and get a big project or something worth while done everyday. Along with this i am going to keep up on the blogging. I suck at writing in my journal and i know i have forgotten a lot of great memories because i never wrote them down anywhere. So, since i love making the blog all cutesy and playing around with it i figure it's a little more of an incentive to sit down and write or recap my days and weeks so that i don't forget this time in my life! Here i go i guess, my project for today...get rid of some of the junk i have in my room! Wish me luck!
