the week in paradise..

Beware: you are about to endure tons of pictures from the trip so be prepared!
hmm...where do I begin? to try and sum it all up in a few words...it was absolutely amazing and wonderful! Even that doesn't do it justice but it was the closest I could think of.
waiting for take off! nicolie jacks and I got lucky enough to have seats by each other...a lot of the other girls were not so fortunate.

please note that we got in a van after a basketball and went straight to the airport which is why these two pictures are disgusting!
FINALLY in Hawaii!!!

here are most of us...our first day on the beach! we were lucky enough to have the dixie state cheerleaders with us too! we loved getting to know them they are all great!
we came across this sand creation while we were walking down the beach and the cute couple who made it trusted us enough to snap a few pictures without ruining it

the water was warm and calm...so nice!

PEARL HARBOR
our day at pearl harbor was great. the whole place has such a reverence to it and everyone there has so much respect. It is such a cool place and I would definitely like to go back again.

more beach walkin' and sunshine soakin'

our second day there we drove up the coast a little bit and stopped at this little lookout area. I don't think it is really called blowhole but we named it that because we saw whales!!! I'm not talking just saw whales off in the distance either. this rock/cliff we are standing on is a part of the mountain that juts out into the ocean. we all climbed up on it and were just taking pictures when I noticed little spouts of water spraying up......
.....and then the show began!! there were five whales only about 100 yards away from where we were standing! they were flipping and blowing water and splashing!! it was one of the coolest things we saw the whole trip. they were SOO close!

Sunday before we went to pearl harbor me court shaylee kori and our dear sweet patsy went to church! it was held in this beautiful tabernacle. we made friends with these two little girls sitting in front of us. they made funny faces at us all through sacrament meeting!

while we were outside taking pictures we saw missionaries!! of course because we have so many friends out on missions we all made the typical.."awe look...missionaries!!" comment ha

this kid just came up to us in the international market and asked for a picture haha naturally we agreed without any persuasion and then we chatted with him and his friend for a while. come to find out they are on the university of texas' baseball team! hot baseball players and Hawaii combined? i have no problem with that!

this picture just completely describes our trip...we never stopped laughing or smiling! we took this at hanauma bay

for lunch one day kor patsy and i went to giavannis shrimp truck! the truck looks way sketch but the shrimp was amazing!! we even signed our names on the truck so if you are ever there look on the drivers door and there we are!

HANAUMA BAY

hanauma bay is a national park. it is a natural coral reef that has been preserved and is home to thousands of cool fish and other sea animals! snorkeling there was a blast and we were all in "one of those moods" so the whole day there was priceless!

these next few pictures were taken at "the blowhole" it was a beautiful little cove that you climbed down into. the cliffs on the right are what we climbed and saw the whales from

yes...we jumped a fence and a wall to go down to the cove haha

these pictures barely even make a dent in all the pictures we took. this trip was absolutely perfect and being with these girls the whole week was so great to! I can honestly say I love every person on the team and hope to always be close with them!
